AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I was very happy with all aspects of this repair. First, the front desk person was very friendly and quick to understand the reason that I was bringing in my vehicle. Very courteous and friendly. The mechanic called to explain the issues. He explained the problem and how it would be fixed. I felt the cost was reasonable due to how everything has been affected by inflation.

The team at AAMCO was great. They communicated clearly and timely throughout the process and explained the technical issues very well. They repaired the transmission in a short amount of time and even detailed the car. Ashley was very professional and pleasant. They did a great job.

I have been bringing our car here for the past 2 years and we have had some complicated issues, but also routine maintenance done. Aamco in Delray Beach has been fantastic! Always very fair on pricing and the work has been done the right way, no issues. They complete all work in a timely fashion and it's always done right. Can't say enough good things about them!

Here is my new updated review, and for the record they really do deserve 6 Stars: I had an excellent experience with AAMCO when they repaired my A/C. From start to finish, the communication and customer service were outstanding. Moti, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled properly. He consistently followed through on every detail, kept me informed throughout the entire process, and made sure the job was completely finished to my satisfaction. It’s rare to find that level of professionalism and personal attention these days. Ashley at the front desk was also fantastic. She kept me updated on the timeline every step of the way and made sure my car was delivered exactly when promised. Her organization, communication, and friendly attitude made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The combination of great service, honesty, and excellent communication really stood out. I highly recommend AAMCO to anyone needing automotive repairs or A/C service. You will be hard pressed to find a better group of people. First time I've been here and from the minute I walked in the door Ashley was so great and helped me get started. They revi

In need of a new alternator, I was recommended to go see Moti who I was told was fair and knowledgeable. Being a newly single woman, dealings with mechanics can be a challenge. Upon arriving, the woman at the front was extremely friendly and kind, even sharing snacks with my 2 year old I had along. We waited for about two hours while the car was inspected and prices were quoted. Moti relayed to me that because my car was SO “uncommon” ( I have a Subaru Ascent), that he only found one alternator locally, and didn’t bother checking with the dealership because it would have been far more expensive. With parts and labor he quoted me over $1,700. For an alternator. I’m a woman with little knowledge of cars but know how much alternators run. So I left. Called a second shop and provided my vin. 30 minutes they returned my call, found an alternator at a Subaru dealership, and quoted me $700 for parts and labor. Obviously had the work done there. I get mark ups, I get labor costs, people need to run businesses. But the $1,000 extra dollars he was willing to charge me, I found gross and STRONGLY WARN people of this man’s greed.
